How to naturally tame Frizzy Hair? Instant Fix method

Hello Beauties!

I hope you all are all set and enjoying the fall weather. It has been raining lately and getting cold where I stay. At many places like mine, fall brings rain and a rainy day can bring a lot of us like myself frizzy untamed hair. When hair is not properly hydrated it will try to attract all moisture from the climate and become frizzy.

So, in order to keep your hair from getting frizzy, keeping it moisturized is the key.

I use this simple technique which keeps my locks moisturized and even helps lock in moisture for long.

So, here is how to go about it -
Immediately after you wash your hair and your hair is still damp take a pea size amount of coconut oil between your palms and rub both palms together.
Now run your fingers at the very ends of your hair as this is the most dry part of your tresses.
Work the left over oil over the very top of your head. Smooth out your hair at the top with your palm. As a result, the most weather exposed parts of your hair get a slight coating of oil without making hair look greasy.

This has helped me and can be an instant fix. I feel as hair is still damp, oil prevents it from drying easily and keeps it moisturized for long. So, hair can reap benefits of being moisturized for long.

Catution:
Do not do this, if you are going to blow dry your hair afterwards.
Although coconut oil has a high smoke point. Still it has not been proved to be a any good heat protector. So, it could damage hair if you blowdry or apply any heat tools with oil in your hair.
Instead, apply a pea size amount of oil after you have already used all the heating tools.

I have started doing it whenever I wash my hair and have seen quite a difference. Let me know if you happen to try and tell me how was your experience. Do you use any other methods for frizzy hair? Please comment below and share. We will love to hear from you and try.

Easiest way to get rid of Split ends

Hello beauties,

I have been enjoying short trips this Fall and it is totally gorgeous near Boston here in United States. Today, I want to talk something about a major issue that all of us experience - it is the Split Ends. I have my friends asking me all the time on this as I have not had them since many years now. Yes! I know its exciting and I thought of blogging about my very simple techniques that favored me in preventing them. It is not something out of the world but still conscious efforts are required to make it a habit.

It is not like I never had them, infact I had them a lot during my teens and even in early twenties. But thankfully I do not get them now, I would say almost gone. It was last year that I realized that oh! yes I do not have split ends, when a friend pointed out. So, I had to think hard and recall what difference I had made to my hair care regime that actually helped me with the results. I have had them as a habit since then and do it consciously. And it is very simple and all natural products.  I hope like it helped me, it would help all those who are facing this problem.

So, here are the few simple ways:

1. Be gentle to your hair

Your hair is the weakest at its ends. Never use anything harsh on it be it rubbing with towel or intense combing.

Just soak excess water with towel or even better with a T-shirt but be gentle, but do not rub.

2. Hydrate
I make a point that my ends are properly hydrated.

I like to put just a pea size amount of coconut oil, rub it between my palms and evenly distribute towards end of my hair after I wash my hair and hair is still damp. This locks in moisture for long.
Whenever I notice my hair is dry again, I would simply put some water or again oil over my ends. And trust me your hair is too dry at the ends so no one would even notice you have oil on. But of-course do not put loads on when you go out, just a pea size amount should do the trick.

Keep drinking water - I can not stress this enough. This helps from inside out and your hair remains hydrated and it can withstand any toughness that it faces from the environment.

3. Go for a trim
If you already have split ends, in my opinion first you really need to trim them off as a treatment girlies. And both the above steps should take care of preventing split ends.

If you have any other tips and tricks for preventing split ends, I would love to hear. Also if you happen
