love&beauty by Forever21 Eyeliner Review

I ran out of my black eyeliner and it was the very day of Cyber Monday last month. Juts like last year, this year too Forever 21 had an online shopping and free delivery deal on shopping worth of any price. Now, I was not particularly searching for my eyeliner on their website. Still, when it was there in one of those related items list I suppose, I thought to have one for myself just as a back up. I ordered a black brown shade. I even mentioned it in my haul over my youtube video. Its linked here.

When the package arrived and I opened the liner and glided it over my wrist, I almost fell in love. It is the color and mostly I am in love with how sturdy is the material of which it is made of. Well, I am not talking of the packaging which is alright but of the actual liner. Also very impressive was its very nib which was kind of pointed and well in shape. I loved how pretty my winged eyeliner turned out because of this fact. I almost forgot to mention this point in my haul video. This thing and how unexpectedly the product impressed me, is the very reason I am writing this little blog post over it.

love&beauty. Smooth Eyeliner in Black Brown

I have used other roll on liners, which we all have might have at some point. The drugstore ones from Revlon, Maybelline, Loreal and so on. A thing that I have noticed in most is that, whenever I am applying these gel eyeliners over my lids, they tend to breaks so often, some a little more prone than others. No wonder they glide smoothly, and I carefully use them not to break them and some still do. Well, I am not complaining and love all of these liners. Also, it can be that its just a case with me. All I mean to say here is this, I literally was not expecting the liner from Forever 21 to turn out so good, especially when there were no product reviews on website while I was ordering. This product is worth mentioning. This is my first time trying Love & Beauty cosmetics, possibly some of you already using it and like it.

Retailing at $1.90 and with ingredients like hydrogenated coconut oil, it is a good quality must have.

I am definitely going to rock it. Here are some of my pros and cons, which I like to mention at the end of my review.

Pros:
Not tested on animals.
Easy to apply tool (works easily for winged liner)
Sturdy liner material
Smooth application
Comes in both black and black brown
Perfect nib for creating that sharp wing
Though the the product did not mention on packing, it does not smudge in water, I tried! (below is the pic)
One of the main ingredients is hydrogenated Coconut Oil.
(For me any ingredient closer to being natural is always a Big Pro. Hydrogenated coconut oil has Skin Conditioning properties)
Lasted the whole day for me without smudging.
(That has to do be with the synthetic Beeswax used in the product)
Below is a pic captioned 'with smudging' that shows smudging results, when I tried rubbing the liner with my fingers.

Cons:
I would love to have it in more color range
If you are looking for creamy or gel liner consistency in your eyeliner, this might not be the product for you. You could try use Gel Pencil Liner by F21 or any other brand.

Where to buy:
At Forever 21 store or online  (US website) here

Because most of the gel pencil and roll on liners I own used to break while applying, I resorted to a gel liner with brush applicator by Rimmel before buying this product. I like Gel eyeliners too. At the same time, I am loving this smooth liner by F21 and will buy it again.

Happy with it :)
Has anyone else tried it or any of the company's cosmetic ranges?
What do you think about this, I would love to read your comments and feedback.
