DIY and How to Remove Makeup with simply Cloth! All Natural Makeup Remover / Eraser

Chemical free beauty hacks are my all time favorite things to do.  So, I am sharing here how I like to remove makeup. I use a soft gentle cloth that looks like a towel but is way more soft and gentle when it comes to your skin.

I got this one as a gift from a friend. Well,  it was meant to be used as a cleaning cloth for laptop, glass, refrigerator and such stuff, which it works great on but it is way better as a makeup remover, trust me! And I got these many in different neon shades.

One day I simply washed my face as a first step to remove my makeup and almost forgot I had makeup on, accidentally grabbed that cleaning cloth instead of my towel. And all my makeup was literally erased. I couldn't believe that something like this was possible. Since we girls know how much we struggle especially for that eyeliner to get off. The same week I saw promotions of makeup eraser fabrics all over instagram. And I was rest assured, that the one I own has to be doing something similar. Ever since, I have continued using the ones I had. On one of my trips though, I just happen to forget mine. Huh! my bad! And I was left with using coconut oil as my best possible natural alternative to remove makeup. As you can tell by now, I am not a big fan of unnatural chemical formulations that are in many drugstore makeup removers. So, coconut oil or baby oil works fine. I am not at all trying to say that the commercial ones do not work or are bad for skin, instead going as much natural as I can is my personal preference.

Here is a quick video with how I use it, if you are interested.

I have a dry skin so even scrubs are little harsh on my skin. So, I use the same cloth from the side which is more like a towel as my exfoliator. Now that I forgot mine over that trip, I had made up my mind to buy the ones available commercially. Good for me that I found a similar fabric/cloth hanging around my house well in time. I am again happily using this technique without having to buy. But if you wish to buy, here are some links to brands that sell these fabric makeup removers, I might as well buy in the future. These for sure must be more professionally built than the one that I use.
Makeup Eraser - amazon.com
Wonder Cloth - amazon.com
Magic Mitt - janeiredale.com

Whatever or not you decide to buy, this is a must try product. I use it over my face after dipping in warm water.

It is very economical and can be used again and again. I am using mine from past four months now and still no signs of damage. And it can be easily rinsed clean in water with simple detergent/soap and no stains remain.

This is not a sponsored post, these are my real life choices.
